Constantinos Laskarides, D.M.D., D.D.S., PharmD, FACS
Dr. Constantinos Laskarides is a experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Diplomate of the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Laskarides holds three professional degrees: a DMD degree from Tufts University and DDS and PharmD degrees from the University of Athens in Greece. He completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Laskarides continued a long, prolific academic career at Tufts where he reached the highest academic rank of Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He served many years as program director of the Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program where he oversaw the training of numerous generations of surgeons in this specialized field.
Dr. Laskarides is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS)). FACS recognition meets stringent membership requirements. Only less that 5% of oral & maxillofacial surgeons in MA, and nationally, meet the criteria and hold this distinction. ACS is the world’s largest professional scientific and educational association of surgeons, and the fellowship demonstrates professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College.
Dr. Laskarides is also a fellow of The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS), The American College of Dentists (ACD), and The International College of Dentists (ICD). Dr. Laskarides maintains a clinical interest and lectures nationally and internationally on facial cosmetics, advanced dental implant surgery & oral reconstruction, computer aided facial skeletal surgery and emerging technologies. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys a vibrant family life with his wife and two sons.
